About  10 years ago I re-discovered ceramics, after a gap of several decades. I'm a committed hand-builder and I use a mixture of clays, and these give me a surface to develop, using texture, slips, oxides, stains and minimal glaze. The scope is enormous - and very exciting.

My influences are many - but mainly people, anything to do with the sea, and the effects of time on both man-made and natural forms.

Drawing will always be important, sometimes taking a back seat, but always there.
